Becky Campbell

Becky Campbell joined Disability Rights Arizona (DRAZ) in March 2023, as an Investigator for the Compliance, Oversight, Monitoring, and Investigations Team (COMIT). The work of COMIT is primarily focused on implementation of the Developmental Disabilities Group Home Monitoring Pilot Program established by the State Legislature. In her role with COMIT, Becky investigates complaints against Arizona group homes licensed to serve residents with developmental disabilities. Prior to joining DRAZ, Becky spent over five years as an investigator with the Arizona Department of Child Safety. She also has experience working with children and adults with disabilities, both in Arizona and Illinois. She has worked across a variety of settings including education, early intervention, habilitation, and residential. Born and raised in Arizona, Becky comes from a large family with a rich history of advocacy and activism. Her father was the first Executive Director of the ACLU in Arizona, and both of her parents were at the forefront of the battle in the 1980’s to break down barriers in Arizona schools for students with disabilities. Becky has a degree in Justice Administration. She is a proud parent to a son and a daughter, and she recently became a grandparent.
