Christina Barnes

Advocate Investigator

Christina Barnes is a Arizona native, originally from Flagstaff.  She moved to the Valley in 2002 and have learned to favor the heat over shoveling snow!  She has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from NAU and my Master of Science in Leadership from GCU.  Currently, Christina is  working on her dissertation for in Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in organizational psychology.  For 8 years, Christina worked for the State of AZ, Department of Economic Security until 2022.  She then worked as a Director of a day program for adults with developmental disabilities (DTA).  She also serves on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization called City West Sports which helps underserved and at-risk youth get involved in sports regardless of their ability to pay.  She is also a volunteer cheer coach for the organization. Christina has two children ages 13 and 7, that keep her busy 24/7 and honestly, of all the different things she is involved with, being their mom her my favorite!
