Kathy Bashor

Board Member

Kathy is a staunch advocate of peer and family driven care in the behavioral health system.  Her can-do spirit has resulted in the strengthening of peer/family voice, access to care and choice in services throughout the system. Kathy spent 6 years in mental hospitals including the Arizona State Hospital. She worked with the Arizona Department of Health and AHCCCS for over 10 years as a Bureau Chief. She earned a master’s degree from Arizona state University where she served on the faculty for 4 years. Kathy is now retired and serves as chair of the Arizona Peer and Family Coalition training others on how to advocate for themselves.
