Allison Cohen Hall

Allison Cohen Hall, PhD, is Senior Research Associate/Project Manager at the Institute for Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  She has been engaged in research related to social capital development, family engagement, transition planning and alternatives to guardianship, workforce diversity and inclusion, and employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through this work, she maintains close ties with the national self-advocacy community and supports individuals with IDD to participate in meaningful roles in the research process. She works remotely for UMass Boston from her home in Gilbert, AZ.

In addition to limited legal representation, our goal is to provide efficient, streamlined services to educate people with disabilities and their family members on how to enforce their legal rights through self advocacy.
