Chelsea Rivas

Board Member

Chelsea Rivas is a parent advocate and mother of four children. Her expertise is in architectural and programmatic nondiscrimination of disabled students in K-12 public schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences and Accessibility Studies from Central Washington University and a Master of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Washington School of Law. In addition to serving as a Board Member for Disability Rights Arizona, Chelsea currently serves on the Advocacy Committee of the Little People of America (LPA), a nonprofit organization that provides support and information to people of short stature and their families, and as the President of the Valley of the Sun Chapter of LPA, covering the Phoenix metro area. Chelsea loves spending time with her family and watching her two sons play baseball and power wheelchair soccer.
