Eveejo joined DRAZ in May 2023 as a Staff Monitor on the P&A Team for the Compliance Oversight Monitoring and Investigation Team (COMIT). Eveejo is on the Monitoring Tool Committee which developed the Tool that gathers data during monitoring visits. She is skilled in Behavioral Health Quality Improvement in residential settings and has implemented child, adolescent, and adult Trauma Informed Care services for people with disabilities in Arizona, Florida, and Iowa. Eveejo’s interest in advocacy began as a child after experiencing bias due to a neurological disability. She has advocated for her family, peers and community for the past twenty years. During her graduate studies in Social Work and Social Justice at the University of Louisville, Eveejo was part of a gender affirming care initiative that supports LGBTQ+ online student’s ability to display pronouns across communication platforms. When Eveejo is not working, she enjoys traveling, all things Behavioral Science, volunteering time to her community, and loving on any stray animal that crosses her path. Eveejo has a Bachelors degree in Psychology in Addiction and a Minor in Human Services.
