Marianne Probst is a wife, mother of six, and dedicated advocate for disability rights. A paraplegic and bilateral amputee, she brings a uniquely grounded, lived perspective to disability advocacy—understanding firsthand how disability intersects with childcare, education, healthcare, and family life.
Marianne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting Communications from Northwest Missouri State University and worked as a newspaper reporter and radio morning show producer in California before relocating with her husband to Gilbert, Arizona, where she has spent the past 22 years raising her family. Managing a busy household has given her extensive experience in problem-solving and creative adaptation—skills she looks forward to bringing to the board.
