Nikki Soukup joined the DRAZ board in December of 2023. She is the Director of Public Policy and Community Relations at the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (ACDHH). As a registered public lobbyist on behalf of ACDHH, she works to ensure individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind or have Combined Vision and Hearing Loss (CVHL) are provided with equitable opportunities throughout all areas of life. Nikki has nearly 20 years of experience providing programs and business leadership in the public and private sector, and remains involved in local and national communities, including serving on boards and committees.
Nikki holds a master’s in Social Work specializing in policy practice and administration from the University of Washington- Seattle, and a bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and pets, and exploring new places from restaurants to nature.
