This video will provide you with identifying signs of students with Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI), what their unique individual needs may be, how to communicate with the school to request a comprehensive evaluation, and what your child with a TBI may need to be successful in school. The video covers the following educational information, including:

  • What does and does not qualify as a TBI under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act • Possible behaviors and challenges associated with TBI
  • How to request a comprehensive educational evaluation from the school and sharing documentation and suggestions about your child
  • What types of accommodations and related services may meet your child’s unique educational needs
