Due process complaints are the most formal of the dispute resolution options available through Arizona Department of Education. Due process complaints may be filed on issues relating to the identification, evaluation, placement of a child, or the provision of a Free Appropriate Public Education to a child. Due process complaints are best suited for disputes concerning the content or quality of a student’s IEP or special education services.
