Jessie Barbosa has been working in the fields of nonprofit and government public health for over a decade. Jessie has extensive experience in strategic planning, program evaluation, community organization, outreach, and community-centered data collection methods. She is also a seasoned grant writer, earning organizational and government grants up to $20 million dollars and performing annual federal reviews.
Jessie’s practice of public health and social services is deeply rooted in advocacy, social justice and health equity. She currently holds an MS in Clinical Psychology and is a Certified ADA Coordinator (ADAC) and proudly serves on the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
In her free time, Jessie enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, trying out local cuisines, and volunteering within her community.
