Tara has over 23 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. A graduate of Franklin College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, she worked in special education assisting middle school students in the Indianapolis area. She relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where she worked with pre-school students in special education for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She then transitioned from a school-based to a facility-based setting, as a manger of residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities. In late 2016, she moved back to Indiana and worked for three years as a Medicaid Waiver Case Manager with the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services.
She then received her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Tara relocated to the Phoenix, Arizona area in March 2020 and began working for DRAZ as an Advocate/Investigator with the Rep Payee, PADD, PAIMI, and PAIR grants. She is currently the Representative Payee Program Manager, and works on great team who continually advocate for the beneficiaries of Social Security. She lives with her husband Mark in the Phoenix area, and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
